The idea was to create a street fashion brand, a brand that represented street fashion – not streetwear. WeSC felt that the purpose contained more than just t-shirts and jeans, a broader selection for men and women. None of what they wanted to achieve was to be found in the distribution network that they related to. Today WeSC is available in more than 20 countries around the world.
WeSC is addressing people with awareness, regardless of race, religion or financial background. These people all share the values and lifestyle of the WeSC founders. They deliver “life after skate”, a more developed style that also targets people outside the skateboard community, but still shares its values. The particular “We-feeling” and community feeling in the skateboard culture is an ever present important key element in day to day operations of the company.
WeSC (We are the Superlative Conspiracy) pronounced Wee Ess See, or We as it is casually known, is a Swedish clothing brand, based mainly on skateboarding influences and style. WeSC was founded in 1999, and it has quickly become one of Sweden's most popular brands, within Sweden as well as internationally. The founders of WeSC joined forces to deliver a broader choice of street-fashion for men and women. The concepts of the envisioned brand were not to be found in the distribution network that they related to, so together they took the initiative to formulate the Superlative Conspiracy, and bring you "life after skate"- a more developed style targeting people both within, and outside of the skateboard community, while continuing to share and maintain core values.

The Superlative Conspiracy is the idea and philosophy behind their brand. They aim to address like-minded people, who are awake and aware, regardless of race, religion or financial background. People within the Superlative Conspiracy share the values and lifestyle of the WeSC founders, who were all avid skateboarders, snowboarders and, above all, creative minds.
Superlative Conspiracy is the foundation for the entire company; it’s the idea and philosophy behind the company. Its unparalleled image and brand building tactics make WeSC stand out from the rest.
The brand first became famous through sponsoring many Swedish underground artists and musicians with connections to the skating world with clothes, and little to no other marketing. They still sponsor many famous personalities which they refer to as ‘activists’ or ‘weactivists’.
