Etnies x Hook-ups (feat. Jeremy Klein)
Jeremy Klein’s manga inspired Birdhouse offshoot Hook-ups was the edgiest thing in skateboarding 17 years ago and whilst many brands have come and gone in that time, the original perpetrator of skateboarding hijinx has kept things flowing from his California garage.
To celebrate both his and his brand’s time in the industry, Etnies have released a collaborative shoe alongside this awe inspiring edit of the man himself, still holding it don in his mid forties. You want to see a proper fast plant? Watch the guy that Greco learned ‘em from.
Jeremy was at the fore front of street skating’s inception, from the first backside smith on a rail to ollieing over more picnic benches you could care to count – he’s seen and done it all in his time and this clip contains some amazing archive footage.
