Save yourself from those painful shiners and ankle bruises with the Footprint Painkiller High Socks in black. These are designed using the same technology as the insoles which are by far, the best thing you have ever put your feet on! The Anit-Lage (artificial cartilage) foam used in the shin protection and the heal protectors during normal use is soft and not noticeable. However, at the moment of impact, it becomes a hard protective shell and protects your body so you can focus on getting back up and trying your trick again instead of hobbling around trying to "walk off the pain". Along with the protective elements of these socks, they also feature a more padded sole than a regular sock to keep the underside of your foot comfortable and ribbed arch and ankle support. These socks are the future of skate socks and a great addition when partnered up with the insoles.

Mmmmm... I found out about these socks by chance on the website and thought WOW, just what I've been looking for. Like most skaters, my shins and ankles are battered and bruised and these socks seemed perfect. Since purchasing these socks I've only worn them twice... I find them awkward to put on...

Good socks. Does what it says. Protects shins when my grandson is skateboarding.
