Description

Celebrating their 50th birthday, Vans are the longest running skate shoe company ever. To celebrate, Vans are releasing a line of pro versions of their most iconic shoes. Each shoe features either the original colourway, material or iconic designs. Vans have been synonymous with skateboarder's musicians and surfers alike. By taking influences from each of these lifestyles and cultures, Vans have not only stayed current but have also set trends and supported each culture along the way.

First released in 1977, but introduced to the world in 1982 in the film 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High', the classic Slip-On gained international recognition thanks to Sean Penn's character Jeff Spicoli. With the help of skateboarders and BMX riders, the Vans Classic Slip-Ons became the rage in Southern California and will come to be the original Slip-On silhouette that will be known as an icon for generations.

Now updated for the needs of modern skateboarders the Slip-On '82 Pro in the '82 Checkerboard colourway features a canvas upper with lining details, UltraCush HD Sockliners for advanced cushioning, and Duracap Toe Bumper and Upper Ollie Underlays for increased durability and extra reinforcement where needed most. This Pro Classic most definitely has Vans Original Waffle Outsole for increased support and stability.

Keep the super classic style with the modern functionality.
