Phil Zwijsen ‘Tokyo Days’
Jun 2014

Element Europe rider Phil Zwijsen has just had this two minute section of exclusively Japanese footage drop on the Thrasher site an it’s a bobby belter!
No music accompanies the skating (which in this day and age of “ringtone rap” could well be a blessing) so you’re left with just the raw noise and the beautiful visuals – it definitely works! There are lots of quick footed, awkward backstreet lines and creative interpretations of spots; it’s a proper “hype you up to skate” kind of vid.
Admittedly we doubt you’ll find a carbon copy of the ender obstacle down Dudley highstreet but Phil goes to show you really don’t need perfect plazas or bespoke bowls to get your shred on.
