We're stoked to present our Thunder x Route One collaborative trucks, it's always a privilege to work along a well respected and wholesome company with in skateboarding. Thunder have produced some of the best trucks in the business as well as having one of the most extensive pro teams out there, backing the likes of Chris Cole, Ishod Wair, Dennis Busenitz, Dylan Rieder and tons more, you have to take your hat off to them.
We ourselves are lucky enough to have everyone's favorite transition killer Sam Beckett representing Route one, who also conveniently rides for Thunder. So we packaged up a nice new set of trucks and shipped them out to Sam's sunny residence in San Diego for him to have a bash and see what they skated like. Sam and Jimmy Wilkins, along with filmer Jordan Faulk, and headed to a friends back yard ramp in the middle of the San Diego Carmel valley to see how they performed.
The trucks come in both 2 sizes and colour ranges, the first being the blue base plate with raw silver hanger, the second a matt black base plate with white gloss hanger, both trucks are high and in width sizes 147 and 149.
Watch below as Sam sets up and casually kills this mini version of a vert ramp pad-less.
