Grizzly was started by 14 year old Torey Pudwill by making "Grizzly Grease" which was a wax made by hand by Torey in a bear shaped cake mould. Over the years, this went from cutting bear shapes out grip tape, becoming a crew and after being taken under the wing of Diamond Supply Co. it has turned into one of the largest brands in skateboarding. With a huge team made up of such names as: Leticia Bufoni, Mike Carroll, Chris Cole, Sean Malto and Guy Mariano.
