Dustin Dollin: The Route One Interview
Back in 2011 we had a spur of the moment, ad hoc chat with legendary antipodean ripper Dustin Dollin and it proved to be some of the most entertaining minutes of the year. Ever since that day we’ve yearned for the opportunity to expand upon the brief conversation and a few weeks back our wish finally came true.
In town with Volcom to discuss the stand out vid of the year so far (that’s Holy Stokes if you were wondering), OG Baker pro and near two decade deep Vans representative Dustin (fresh from an overnight transatlantic flight) was again the most gracious of interviewees, freely waxing lyrical about a whole host of topics – nothing seemed off the table!
Kicking off discussing his time with Volcom, looking back over his astounding career that has seen him through seven knee reconstruction surgeries and conversing about the extreme importance of the punk rock spirit; Dustin knows who he is and also the way he feels things ought to be.
