Jim Greco 'Year 13'
Jim Greco is a skateboarding enigma. By rights he really should be dead, the early noughties saw his quest for rock star excess reach levels that would fail the heart of your average human and his penchant for getting himself into the most treacherous of circumstances, both on and off his board, are legendary.
Now though, with well over a decade sober under his belt, numerous 'fit changes and a succession of massively successful and respected companies to his name, as he counts down the months to his 40th birthday he reminds us yet again why will always be considered one of skateboarding's true greats. Through the tight jeans many still wear to this day to the commonest aspects of our shared vernacular, Greco shaped so much of it. Now, as he reaches an age where most stopped trying ten years prior, he bares his soul once again and drops hammers like it's still 1999.
Featuring appearances from such luminary names as Jason Lee, Jeremy Klein, Danny Sargent and Chris Pastras, captured by the legendary lens of Tobin Yelland and Joey Sinko, this is the stuff of which skateboarding folklore is made. Though the crack cocaine and eyeliner may be well gone, the desire to shred still remains. Click play now...
