Sam Beckett
Bio
Sam Beckett originally hails from Norwich and has found himself living in Vista California, Marseille has finally come back to the Uk to base himself out of Bristol. Sam Joined the Route One family back in 2013 and we have had the privilege of watching him mature into the powerhouse he is today.
Sam is predominantly a vert skater and has proved to be up there with the best of them after winning gold at the 2016 X games. After his success at the X games Sam was given the prestigious title of Pro from his board sponsor Blind. He has been involved in an extensive backlog of video projects including the Blind ‘IOU’ video as well as the Berrics prestigious ‘In Transition’ series and he’s showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Sam came with us to South Africa for our “Bourbon in Durban" trip during May in 2018. This trip saw us traveling from Johannesburg to Durban while stopping off at a few spots during the way. As expected Sam crushed the South African transition, however the lesser seen street Beckett made an appearance proving the he isn’t just a one trick pony!
Sam Joins R1 teammate Jordan in representing Great Britain and skating for Skateboard England as one our Olympic hopefuls.
