Nyjah: Fade to black “Uncut”
He may not have won Skater of the year but there is no denying that the skateboarding equivalent of marmite (you either love him or you hate him), Mr Nyjah Huston, put out one of the gnarliest parts ever in the form of his ‘Fade to Black’ section last month.
DC footwear have seen fit to release a whole eight minutes of uncut footage from the filming of the clip; no music, no fancy cut-aways – just simple shredding, alternative angles, warm up tricks and slams.
As much as we love the art and beauty that goes into the fine craft of skate video making, sometimes the raw gnarliness can be lost in the mix, not so when footage is “uncut”.
Prepare to be shocked yet again…
