Everybody knows and loves the Half Cab, but it's only the older guys who remember the Full Cab. In the 90's, you would buy a pair, cut them down with scissors and gaffer tape the top to make the low top Half Cab yourself. We strongly advise not doing that with these, as a Full Cab is much harder to get hold of now-a-days!

The Vans 50th Anniversary Full Cab Pro '89 honours the higher level of functionality Steve Caballero brought to the design of the first signature skateboarding shoe in 1989, as well as the revolution of street skaters that adopted his signature Caballero, later customizing it into what became the most iconic skate shoe of the '90s, the lighter, better, faster, Half Cab in 1993. Featuring suede and embossed suede uppers, Duracap reinforcement rubber underlays in high wear areas, UltraCush HD sockliners to keep the foot close to the board while providing the highest level of impact cushioning, and Vans original waffle outsoles for superior grip and control, the Caballero Pro '89 is upgraded to modern specs in its iconic original burgundy with croc emboss colourway.

With 50 years in the industry, Vans are one of the leading skateboarding footwear brands and are a part of skateboarding history. Being the first company to make skateboarding specific shoes, Vans have been driving the sport forward since the early days and keep doing so. With a super stylish team, simple designs and timeless items of footwear and apparel, Vans will be with us forever.
