Gideon Parry-Laidler

Giddy is one of our brightest young skaters on the team and sits on our Route One Brighton skate team. Giddy is one of the loveliest kids you'll meet, always smiling and enthusiastic, something which shines through in his skating. But don't let his smiling appearance fool you, Giddy is an absolute, stone cold shredder who keeps going from strength to strength. It's rare you will find someone so young with so much style. We're gassed to be along for the ride, and look forward to whatever the future holds for Giddy.

A Bowl with gnarly pool coping.

What do you do when your not skating?
That's hard… I skate so much but I play music in a band. I like cooking and making awesome chocolate cookies. Love to hang out with my bros and chill on the beach.

What hobbies do you have outside skating?
I love surfing when I am in Cornwall, and I really want to try snowboarding.

Gavin Bottiger, Evan Wasser, Mitchie Bruscoe.

Gavin Bottiger.

What music are you listening to at the moment /last played song?
I've been listening to Fakemink.

What music gets you amped to skate?
Something that has an adrenaline rush like “You were made for loving me Baby” by Kiss.

Favourite route one product?
The decks because of the sick graphics and because they feel amazing to skate.

They are all amazing and so individual.

If you could steal a trick from another rider on your store team, who and what would it be?
Harry Bidwell (Bidders), his tre flips are the best.

What’s the best thing about your city?
It's in the South Downs and also beside the Beach so it's lots of fun to live here.

If you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
Skate in California, be an Olympian and travel the world.
