Trop For Trop: Route One In Gran Canaria
As harsh reality struck and it became all too apparent that the wonderful Indian summer we were all experiencing throughout September and October was destined to disappear into the ether, Route One TM Josh ‘Manhead’ Young decided the time was right to organise a quick getaway with Sidewalk Magazine and a select crew of his boys.
Fast forward a few weeks and Josh, Chelmsford’s finest Nick Remon, Livi’s most notorious transition ripper Benson & verified Bradfordian legend Douglas McLaughlan found themselves touching down on the glorious ‘Island of Dogs’ – Gran Canaria.
Over the course of the next five days a great deal of skateboarding was documented; enough for this here article in Sidewalk magazine! Sidewalk’s resident video lensman Ryan Gray was also in tow so we can also proudly present our edit of the trip to you below.
