Truth be told, we're not sure how we feel about this latest release from Chad Bower's excellent Quasi Skateboards. Please don't misunderstand us, we're huge fans of the brand and Bobby DeKeyzer is an absolute beast, but 24 minutes of one man skating around the same plaza over the course of a few weeks? It's either trolling or it's brilliant, and we're really not sure which.

First off, let's examine the trolling argument; skateboard video production used to consist of full teams, travelling the world to the most exciting spots, working their proverbial arses off for a few years, collating the footage into a veritable 'Best of' to sell us, the buying pubic, the notion that using their product would perhaps afford us some second hand cool. Nowadays such effort is old hat. So is Quasi, a brand built from the OG spirit, using one lad at one spot to taking the 'no effort' concept to it's ultimate conclusion to see whether we'll actually accept it?

Or is it brilliant? After all, Bobby De Keyzer is a phenomenally talented skater and seeing the process of him working through his tricks, at the same spot over and over again, affords us a glimpse into what it really means to be a pro. Peaking behind the curtain, do we find ourselves cheering for Bobby and Quasi even more?
