Nixon x Primitive - Exclusive to Route One
Route One are proud to announce the UK exclusive launch of the limited edition Nixon x Primitive collection.
Originally setup as a boutique skate retailer, LA based Primitive was co-founded by Nixon team rider Paul Rodriguez. What started as an initial concept soon transitioned into the opportunity that we all know today as Primitive Skateboarding.
After long discussions both Nixon and Primitive decided to collaborate together on a collection of watches that would share a similar look and feel inspired by P-Rod’s infamous rose gold board graphics and classic Californian street and skate lifestyle.
P-Rod, having been involved in both the initial concept and design of each watch, ensuring that all finer details were covered, finishing each watch with a custom engraved case back and distinctive “P” signature on each watch crown.
Launching the range with 4 key models, The Cannon, The Kingpin, The Time Teller & Sentry SS, the brushed rose gold and black pallets are a direct link that has offered both brands that opportunity to be adventurous without being offensive and with the launch of the skateboard side of the brand and the team wanting to get to work on this limited collaboration, the timing to launch this latest collaboration with both new and heritage watch models has aligned perfectly.
