Andrew Reynolds: The Route One Interview

When it comes to skateboarding royalty, they don’t come much bigger than Andrew Reynolds. If Tony Hawk is the king, then Reynolds is surely the crown prince. What we're saying is, he's kind of a big deal.
So you'll forgive the hyperbole; when we got the opportunity to spend time with the New Balance team back in May, it felt like a genuine bucket-list moment. Wandering around our nation's capital with the man they call The Boss? That's the sort of core memory that'll stick with us forever!

Watching Reynolds and Foy go head-to-head on the Winstanley Estate quarters was a treat we'll be talking about for years, and getting the chance to sit down and interview them both was a genuine privilege. From designing the 933 to discovering a love for beans on toast, Drew carries the conversation with the same effortless charm that's made him one of skateboarding's most respected figures.

So, without further ado, we're proud to present the final instalment in our New Balance Running Numbers interview series: the one and only, Mr Andrew Reynolds.

Game of G.R.A.T.E. Semifinals — Antonio Durao v.s. Mark Suciu

If you haven't been keeping up with Quartersnacks' Game of Grate, we have to ask: what have you been doing with your life!?!

The concept itself is simple. Quartersnacks, the NYC based skate website-cum-content creator-cum-journal, invited eight of their favourite skaters to play a game of skate over the legendary Flushing Meadows grate. The result is, as you'd expect, thoroughly entertaining.

At the time of writing, we're down to the semi finals and the latest episode, featuring two of our all-time favourites Antonio Durao and Mark Suciu, serves as the perfect illustration of just what a fantastic idea this was. If Suciu's first defensive trick doesn't have you shouting at your screen then nothing in skateboarding in 2026 is going to entertain you!

Epicly Later'd: Jamie Foy

When the New Balance boys were in town last month, catching up with Jamie Foy was right at the top of our priority list. That's just the kind of guy he is.

It seems it's not just us who feels this way. The latest episode of Patrick O'Dell's brilliant Epicly Later'd series focuses on the Deerfield Beach native, taking great care to illustrate just how universally beloved Big Boy Foy is. Not only among the general skateboarding public, but also his professional peers.

Charting his journey from childhood to his rise as one of skateboarding's most recognisable figures, not shying away from Reynolds admitting that he initially didn't think Jamie was anything special, over the course of 35 minutes we're led to the crescendo of the Deathwish Pro's phenomenal second SOTY award.

Packed with archive footage and plenty of Momma Foy, this feels like the perfect addendum to our Route One interview that dropped at the start of the month. If you enjoyed our chat with Jamie, we can highly recommend this as further viewing!
