Best of 2014: Route One x Red Bull Madrid
As December draws to a close and we bid farewell to 2014 we have decided to share with you our five favourite blog posts of the past 12 months.
Kicking things off has to be our joint venture with Red Bull to Madrid. Route One team members Nicky Howells, Doug McLaughlan and Josh Young visited the Spanish capital back in March, staying above the legendary ‘Welcome’ skate shop and venturing out across the city, hitting up the myriad of skate spots available.
The trip was documented by our in house filmer Alex Winstanley and the photography beautifully shot by Fabric Skateboards’ Jason Lewer. If you didn’t get chance to catch the clip first time around or just fancy a second bite at the audio-visual cherry, click play below to see The National Skateboard Co’s Manhead, DC’s Nicky and A Third Foot’s Dougy merking it on foreign soil.
