Emilio Dufour 'Nini'

Hands up, who knows much about the Uruguay skate scene? Not us, that's for sure!

So we can't pretend we're familiar with the earlier work of Emilio Dufour, the focus of this brand new 'Vans supported' release on the Free Skate Mag YouTube page, but we're defo converts to his cause now we've seen his latest part!

Not that our shared ignorance is a problem, as Free have an in-depth interview with Emilio that not only gives us the back story behind this specific production but also a look into the man behind the tricks.

And, if you're like us and grew up on a grey little estate in a provincial town, tales of ferry trips to Buenos Aires and "random Costa Rica clips" are exotic as it comes. 

So watch the vid and have a read; he might be from South America but, as is always the case, there is so much common ground to be found in skateboarding. We just wish we shared his abilities as well as his passion for skating!
