Over time certain skaters have changed the course of history. Whether it’s through their individual style, creativity, sheer passion for the sport or contributions to the scene they have helped define a sport that not only continues to grow but also one that we have all come to know and love so well.
With a continued appreciation for skateboarding in general, underwear bosses Stance have entered into Spring 16 with a bang dropping yet another collection of socks paying homage to some of skateboarding’s most inspirational figures by way of the Skate Legends collection.
Taking inspiration from expired board graphics and other affiliated artwork, the collection revolves around legends Tom Knox, Tommy Guerrero, Natas Kaupas, Lance Mountain & Jason Jessee and highlights some of their most poignant moments in an array of loud and outrageous graphics all of which have been applied to Stance’s exceptionally comfortable and precise sock shape.
For many of these legends, it was their early graphics that became synonymous with their names and as the skaters themselves grew so did their graphics now defining them as the figures you see today. Enduring the test of time each skater’s legacy reminds us to be true to ourselves which is something that Stance is keen to promote as individuality is key.
