The Best Skate Shoes Coming Autumn 2025

The humble skate shoe. The workhorse of the session. Through endless scrapes and bails, flips and back tails, they are there for you. Keeping their structure, standing strong and letting you do what you do best. But there comes a time when you have to part ways with your ol’ reliables. A time when the sole and upper are held together by electrical tape and your big toe hangs through the stitching. This is just part and parcel of the life of the skate shoe, and sometimes you must accept the inevitable and lay your trusty creps to rest.

In preparation for your next pair, we’ve put together a list of our favourite skate shoes being released this Fall and beyond from the best brands in the biz. If you are itching for a new pair and you need them NOW, don’t worry, there are a few on this list which are already out there on the market. So without further ado, here are the best skate shoes coming out in Fall ‘25.

Best Nike SB Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

Nike SB Air Max Ishod - White/Black-Court Purple-Black

The Nike SB Air Max Ishod colourways keep rolling in and we reckon this is one of the best yet. A contrasting colour scheme blesses the latest release, the white upper broken by black panelling from toe all the way to heel with purple detailing sat on the collar and tongue, sat on top of a black sole. As can be expected from Ishod's second pro silhouette, we can guarantee it will be stacked with all the tech you need, including the famed Air Max Air Bubble.

Best adidas Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

adidas Busentiz Indoor Super - Clear Brown/Core Black/Off White

Is this the most comfortable skate shoe ever made? It very well might be. adidas Skateboarding and Dennis Busenitz have a long history of collaborating, in fact, Dennis was the first skater to land his very own signature silhouette for the Three Stripes. Continuing the fruitful collab, the Indoor Super fuses together a distinct squash court tread with his iconic silhouette. Featuring unique cupsole construction, vintage details, along with a lock-in feel fit and grippy board control, you get a perfect mix of tech and heritage.

Best Vans Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

Vans Skate Safe Low - Black / Black

Okay, okay, this one is already out there on the market. But how can we miss such a beauty of a shoe off this list just because of a silly little detail like that. At first glance, you can see the Half Cab influences, which is always a good start. But look a little deeper and the details begin to reveal themselves... The Safe Low of choice comes in all black suede and gum, so little to talk about in that department, but the newest Vans silhouette to land at Route One in stacked with tech and detailing. POPCUSH insoles ensure session-long support, SICKSTICK ensures that grip, and Ghillie laces bring a snug, supportive fit and tie the whole affair together.

Best New Balance Numeric Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

NB Numeric Tiago - Sea Salt/Black

New Balance has a revered history of making technical performance footwear to meet the needs of professional athletes. Numeric continues this tradition with the 1010 for Tiago Lemos; their most technically advanced skate shoe to date. Fall ’25 sees a duo of new colourways for this techy crep, a calming Sage and Tan, along with our pick for the season, the Sea Salt and black. The off-white upper is accompanied by sandy accents, and sits on a contrasting black sole for a versatile yet distinct look. Getting into what tech is on offer, the 1010 features a full-length dual-densityFuelCell midsole for propulsive underfoot cushioning, upper harnessing FantomFit and anatomical inner heel pods provide a secure lockdown fit. The 1010 blends New Balance’s expertise and skate heritage for confidence on and off the board.

Best Converse CONS Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

CONS Louie Lopez 2 - Total Eclipse/Swamp Core

It arrived with a metallic bang, but CONS take a more moderate approach for the latest iterations of Louie’s second signature silhouette. If chrome ain’t your thing, the Louie Lopez Pro 2 now lands in a versatile and super sick Total Eclipse/Swamp Core colourway. The Louie Lopez Pro 2 takes inspiration from Converse’s classic track cleats with skate upgrades. Full-grain leather dominates the upper, with a durable suede toe overlay bringing a classic feel to the affair, and the look is finished off with the iconic Chevron branding. In terms of tech you can expect: CX foam cushioning sits below for comfort and support, whilst the innovative cupsole design ensures boardfeel and the traction rubber outsole delivers supreme grip.

Best IPath Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

Cats Low - Wheat Suede

IPath is back and so is one of the most opinion-splitting, but iconic, silhouettes in skateboarding: the Cats. Based on a moc-toe shoe, the Cats Low comes in as our pick from the Ipath Fall ’25 range. The upper comes in a buttery Wheat Suede with the traditional moc piping around the toe and up the heel. Don’t worry, the Cats Low comes equipped with all the contemporary skate tech, meaning not only will you be looking your best, you’ll be skating your best as well. The cupsole silhouette features a padded tongue and collar, as well as Ortholite insoles and EVA foam midsoles for comfort and support, all suede upper is built for durability and Strobel lasting keeps the Cats Low comfortable.

Best DC Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

DC Lucien - Black/Orange

Our pick for the best shoe out this fall from the crew at DC is the latest colourway of the Lucien. Lucien Clarke’s second signature silhouette pulls heavy influences from tennis trainers, whilst maintaining DC’s iconic chunkiness. The shoe features strapping on the sides, a thick, shock absorbing sole and DC branding on the sides, sole and below the laces, all wrapped up in potentially our favourite colourway of the shoe yet, an all-black shoe with orange details popping through.

Best Lakai Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

Lakai Cambridge - Bastien

Lakai’s Fall ’25 offering focuses on bringing signature colourways and fresh palettes to some of their fan favourites, including the Cambridge and Telford silhouettes. Their golden offering, in our opinion, comes in the form of the Bastien Salabanzi’s Cambridge colourway, bringing an air of luxury to a Lakai staple. The upper consists of a black durable suede and leather construction with a burgundy trim, but the crowning detail(s) are the golden Lakai and Salabanzi branding found on the perforated side wall, as well as heel and tongue tabs. The golden motif continues with a sparkling deluxlite insole, sat on top of a Para-mount Dual density vulcanised sole for that sweet flick and superior impact absorption.

Best Etnies Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

Etnies Loot - White/Green

An OG of the skate game and still going strong, Etnies continue to roll out innovative silhouettes and new colourways for some of their most popular models. Looking ahead to fall, the Loot gets a fresh colour palette, a clean White and Green wrapping the mid-puff silhouette. Some of the key features found in the Loot that make it worth considering for your next include the STI Comfort Level 2 insoles, EVA heel wedge, and flexible tread pattern.

Best DVS Skate Shoe of Autumn 2025

DVS Sureshock - Grey/White

Fancying a 90s and 00s style? Look no further than DVS and the Sureshock silhouette in Grey/White. The Sureshock is heavy on the 90s sport trainer stylings, but certainly not skimping on its performance. Constructed with a rubber cup sole and mixed-material uppers, the Sureshock features a three-quarter Vaporcell midsole and exposed heel stabiliser, a footbed with bruise control tech and Flex Feel tread for boardfeel and felxibilty straight out of the box.
