Vans - From One Pro To Another
Here we take a look at Vans team rider and all round legend in skateboarding Jeff Grosso’s most recent interpretations after having placed his stamp onto two very simple yet highly suitable silhouettes, the Era 46 Pro and the Sk8-Mid Pro.
Consisting of all-leather uppers on both the classic Era silhouette and Sk8-Mid, both shoes have been treated to carefully constructed upgrades with new additional features such as UltraCush HD Sockliners for advanced cushioning, Duracap Toe Bumpers and also the a new Upper Ollie Underlay for increased durability and extra reinforcement.
Amongst the recent ensemble of pro models came a set a simple yet not to be over shadowed staple shapes and silhouettes. Additionally present were the Slip-On 59 Pro, Old Skool 92 Pro & Sk8 Hi. All available in a classic make up of prominently black suede uppers with white accents these models provide a smart and sophisticated feel to a set of silhouettes that would not normally have been given this label.
With the Old Skool ’92 Pro being one of Vans most recognizable shapes, updates to this silhouette have created a skating master piece offering you the consumer UltraCush HD Sockliners, Duracap™ Toe Bumpers and Upper Ollie Underlays all as standard whilst still keeping the core and essential look and feel of the one of the first ever skate shoes.
Featuring all of the above the Sk8 Hi and Slip-On 59 Pro both provide an alternative option if you are after something a little slimmer a more streamline. Taking things into the realms of street wear and fashion these classic shoes provide you the customer the option to step off your board and onto the street without having to worry about your choice of footwear.
