Josh Borden: The Route One Interview
The last weekend of March saw some of the greatest transition skaters in the world descend on Malmo for the 10th annual Vert Attack competition and in the days that followed a number of riders touched down on our shores to enjoy a short Easter break before heading home.
Santa Cruz pro and long time Vans rider Josh Borden was amongst this group, hitting up the south west of our fair island courtesy of the good guys over at Shiner. Route One TM Josh Young used his prime networking skills to full effect and before we knew it we were sharing a pint with the man himself and discussing skateboarding topics aplenty.
Having turned pro twelve months ago we had to ask Josh how his life had changed, throw into the mix the fact that his “crew” is pretty much a who’s who of legendary bowl rippers and he regularly tours with Jason Jessee?
