Ever since the release of ‘Strongest of the Strange’ the filming and editing talents of Polar Skateboards head honcho Pontus Alv have been very much in demand.

This 6 minute clip for Converse footwear, filmed in and around Manhatten, New York, is unmistakably the craft of the infinitely talented Swede and mixes raw East Coast city sessioning with his artistic approach to skateboard video making.

Here’s the official blurb:

Manhattan Days is a film composed by Pontus Alv celebrating the Converse Cons Polar Skate Co. CTAS Pro and featuring Cons and Polar riders Aaron Herrington, Kevin Rodrigues, David Stenström, Jerome Campbell, Dane Brady and Pontus himself.
Taking inspiration from back in the day when you skated all over the city we carted around some East Coast style plates and a pole jam in a skateable shopping cart and just let the skating happen. Enjoy
