Skate Update: Nike, New Balance and No Shoe Sponsor Whatsoever...

 
Laser flips? Check. Hyping up kids and pedestrians? Check. Singing your own part song? Go on then, if you must!

This brand-new part from Dashawn Jordan really has it all, including that face-melting 5.0 we saw gracing the April 2026 cover of Thrasher. So it’s no surprise it shot straight to the top of our “most watched” videos this week.

Released by Nike SB to coincide with the launch of the eponymous Dashawn SB Dunk Low - featured throughout - the Team USA Olympian keeps it strictly street, delivering one of the standout parts of 2026 so far!

Though only the length of an Insta reel, we felt compelled to share this Village Psychic–curated Jack Olson compilation, as it perfectly illustrates just how good some of our favourite pros really are. And all this was filmed in a week? No need to rub it in mate!

First coming to the fore as part of Real’s 2017 Thrasher King of the Road team, we already knew Minnesota native Jack could flip out of just about every grind and slide imaginable. We just didn’t realise he could do it with such alarming regularity.

 
Truth be told, it’s rarer to see him drop off the end of a rail or ledge than it is to enjoy another one of his deft flicks. So enjoy we shall, safe in the knowledge we’re unlikely to ever land any of these tricks - let alone all of them in a week!

The end of his time with Primitive Skateboards appears to have done little to temper Charlie Munroe’s appetite, if his latest footage for New Balance is anything to go by. If anything, it seems a fire has been lit beneath the lad from Cambridge - and his career is about to reach boiling point.

Though clearly a double-header with the supremely talented Italian Davide Holzknecht, as fellow countrymen of Munroe we feel duty-bound to get behind the local talent and offer our services as cheerleaders, especially on such a global stage.

In all fairness however - and with national allegiances set aside - both skaters deliver in this joint project. The skating is top-notch throughout the eight minutes, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a better tag team than these New Balance boys. So hit play and savour every second of the magic they’ve produced.
